PREPARE FOR YOUR CALL:
Choppy or poor quality can be frustrating during a telemedicine call. Here are tips to improve call quality:
-
Restart your computer.
-
Close all applications on your computer (Evernote, OneNote, word, iTunes etc). And close all tabs on your browser.
-
If you are using your mobile device (using the ZOOM app) make sure that you are connected to wifi (a strong mobile signal may be sufficient but make sure to TEST YOUR CALL)
-
Use headphones. - this will prevent audio feedback/echo
TEST YOUR CALL:
-
We suggest you log on at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time in case there are any issues with technology that you need to sort out prior to your appointment starting
-
Using the app on your cell phone: This option works best if connected to WIFI, using data for calls may result in decreased quality of dropped calls. Remember that this is a health consult- this is not intended for public places.
-
Have headphones connected to your phone so you can be visualized and hear the call
If you have any issues logging in please email admin@modrnmed.com.
